For a classic day at the Races, Glorious Goodwood takes some beating. It not only offers the very best in top-class racing, but is one of the highlights of the social summer season. We will be offering daily trips to Glorious Goodwood in August.
Widely regarded as the world's most beautiful racecourse, Goodwood is set high on the South Downs and with far reaching views across the Solent, it really is the perfect place to enjoy horseracing and socialising at its very best.
If you'd like to go further afield, why not enjoy a great day trip to Dunkerque or a day trip to Bruges - with the opportunity to shop, to eat and to drink?
Travelling by luxury coach, these day trips depart early from your club and after arriving in France, we make the short journey to a hypermarket, where you will have time to stock up on continental goodies, including beers and wines at a fraction of the UK cost. From there, we make our way either to Dunkerque or to Bruges where the rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure - have a relaxing lunch or discover the delights of continental bar life!
Dunkerque is a popular destination with a fine harbour, great shopping and some of the best bars and restaurants in Northern France. Bruges, of course, is a splendid medieval city and is one of Belgium's crown jewels. It manages to retain the look, the feel, the charm and the quiet of a time gone by. A stroll through the tiny medieval streets of the city can be an enchanting experience, with shops, bars and restaurants a plenty. A great opportunity to stock up on fine Belgian beer, Belgian chocolate and Belgian lace.
Finally, it's never too soon to start planning for Christmas and our Christmas Market trips are superb for a Members Day Out - combining French and Belgian hospitality with an opportunity to stock up on Christmas goodies. Our Christmas market trips begin in early December and we'd be delighted to reserve a place for your club.
We always try to personalise each trip to suit our guests, so if you do have any special requests for the day, such as a group lunch or a visit to any attractions, then we'd be delighted to make the necessary arrangements. For all our trips, we offer one place free in ten - and we will try and organise pick-up points according to demand.
With each trip, your guests will receive:
- Luxury coach transport to and from your club
- A welcome aboard pack - with free goodies.
- For overseas trips, one free case of beer for each adult; for Glorious Goodwood, a luxury packed lunch and a free £1 bet on the Tote!
