The BII Birmingham 10k & 5k Run is an annual, open and inclusive event for runners, walkers and joggers of all abilities.
5k and 10k routes are available around the picturesque surroundings of Sutton Park.
The race uses the undulating tarmac paths within Sutton Park and is perfect for experienced runners or those new to running.
The race features chip timing as well as medals and finish line goody bags for all finishers.
The race is organised by the Birmingham Insurance Institute with all proceeds to Birmingham Mind

Baggage Drop Off
The Course This accurately-measured course is an undulating two lap 10k, single lap 5k route using the roads within Sutton Park.
First Aid St John Ambulance or an alternative medical provider will be in attendance on the day and the course will be marshalled to provide assistance. There will also be a sweep marshal following the race to ensure that nobody is left behind and that all runners are accounted for.
Your individual time and position will be recorded by your electronic chip. We will endeavour to display results as they come into the race centre. Results will be uploaded to www.nice-work.org.uk as soon as possible after the race. All entrants that have supplied a valid and legible email address will receive a copy of the results as soon as possible after the race.

The Race Headquarters will be at Sutton Park and will be clearly sign posted when you enter the park. The start/finish area will be imediately outside the HQ and signs will be clearly posted to direct you. There is limited car parking available at the park so public transport is advised.
The 604 Bus route stops directly outside the Town Gate and the Race HQ is a short walk from here.
The closest railway station is Sutton Coldfield which is a short walk from the race HQ.
