Join After Adoption, the national adoption charity, for this 10km run in London's Regent's Park. Hundreds of people of all running abilities will be enjoying three laps in one of the most beautiful parks in the capital.
This great run takes place just after National Adoption Week and the money raised will go towards children and families affected by adoption. We ask all participants to try to raise sponsorship - the entry fee just pays for the event!
There will be a t-shirt, goody bag and medal for every participant.
Baggage Drop Off
This is a three lap course along the paths within Regent's Park. Relatively flat and fast, this is a good course to attempt a PB. The start and finish will be close to The Hub - the nearest Underground station is Baker Street. Runners should be aware that Regent's Park is a public space and there will be other park users on the paths on the day, including dog walkers, cyclists and other runners.
St John Ambulance or another medical provider will be in attendance on the day and the course will be marshalled to provide assistance. There will also be a sweep marshal following the race to ensure that nobody is left behind and that all runners are accounted for.
Your individual time and position will be recorded by your electronic chip. We will endeavour to display results as they come into the race centre. Presentations will take place approximately 60 minutes after the first finisher.
Results will be uploaded to www.nice-work.org.uk as soon as possible after the race. All entrants that have supplied a valid and legible email address will receive a copy of the results as soon as possible after the race.
Race Start: The Hub, Regents Park, London, NW1 4RU
The closest Underground station to the start/finish area is Baker Street, which is served by the Jubilee, Metropolitan, Hammersmith and City and Circle lines. It is recommended that runners use public transport to get to the event. It is around a 10 - 15 minute walk from Baker Street to the start area, so please allow plenty of time.
There is some parking available on the roads surrounding the park, but runners should be alert to any parking restrictions and parking payments that may be required.
