Providing the entry limit has not been reached, entries will be available on the day for all of our races. There is an extra charge for entering on the day and this is stated on the individual event entry form.
If you enter online, you should receive an acknowledgement email confirming your entry from the online entry portal – typically Runner's World, RunBritain or BookitZone. Should you not receive this confirmation email within 24 hours of your entry, there is a chance it may have dropped into your junk mailbox, so please check your junk emails before you contact us to confirm your place.

Postal entries will be acknowledged by email. Around 10 days prior to race date, you will receive an email from us to let you know if and when your race pack is being sent out. Please note that, for some races, your number and chip are to be collected on race day, but we'll let you know in advance.
Yes, you can enter multiple people when entering online or by post, provided you have all of the required details for all entrants.
Runners who are members of a UK Athletics affiliated running club are 'attached' runners; if you are not a member, then you are 'unattached'
Yes, we accept group entries for eight or more runners. Please email us for a group booking form.
We accept athletes of all ages, sizes and capabilities! Our events are fully inclusive and designed both for those new to running and experienced athletes. Each race distance does have a minimum age limit, which is set by UK Athletics. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept any runners under the specified age bands.

The UKA age guidelines for races are:
  • Under 3k – Any age
  • 3k – 9 Years and over
  • 5k – 11 years and over
  • 5 Mile and
  • 10k – 15 years and over
  • 10 mile – 16 years and over
  • Half Marathon – 17 years and over
  • 20 Mile and Marathon – 18 years and over
  • Ultra Marathon – 20 Years and over
We accept wheelchair athletes at our events; however, not every event is suitable. If you are a wheelchair athlete who is interested in an event, please contact us beforehand to check the course suitability.
You can either download a postal entry form from our website or enter online via Runner’s World, BookitZone and RunBritain. The links to each race are available on the individual race pages on our site. Please note that all online portals charge an admin fee for using their services. At present we cannot take payments over the phone.
Our events are designed for runners; however, we do have walkers at some of our events. You may be asked to start the event earlier than the advertised start time and to complete the course un-marshalled, depending on the distance. Please contact us if you’d like to walk a race and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
UK Athletics rules prohibit dogs in races. However, for some of the more ‘fun’ events, it may be possible subject to certain conditions - please check with us beforehand. Our Canicross races are, of course, dog-friendly!
Unfortunately due to an amendment to UKA Licence Standards running with a buggy is no longer permitted at UKA Licenced events and therefore we are now sadly unable to allow buggy runners at our events.
All of our events will have toilet facilities but not all events will include changing facilities. Please check the individual event page using our race calendar, which will state whether or not changing facilities are available.
All of our events are timed either by the traditional manual method using a stopwatch and clipboard, or by using chip timing. We will endeavor to have results available at the race and results are normally uploaded to our website shortly after the event has finished.
For most of our events, your race number will be posted out to you. If you have entered one of our summer evening 5k events or a mid-week winter event, your race number will be waiting to collect on the night. You will receive an email upon entry that will state whether your number is sent out to you or not.
For most events, your race number and timing chip will be posted out to you around 10 days before race day. If you do not receive your race pack before race day, please come to the registration desk at the race HQ and we will reissue your race number.

If you have entered within 10 days of the event or you live overseas, your race number will be waiting for you to collect on the morning of the race and you will receive your race instructions by email.

For some races, your number and timing chip will not be posted in advance and will be available to collect on the day, but we will email you before race day to let you know if this is the case.
Your timing chip is incorporated into your race number and should not be removed. Please place the race number on the front of your vest/shirt and not on your leg or back.
Please attach your race number to the front of your running top or vest using safety pins or clips, securing it on all four corners. Please don’t attach your number to the back of your shirt as it is difficult for our timekeepers and marshals to identify you.
At all of our events, we offer prizes for leading runners in the race and winners of each age category. There is a maximum of one prize per person and the prize giving is normally 45-60 minutes after the first finisher home. Age categories are worked out by your age on the date of the race. At all of our races, all finishers will be offered a memento or medal, plus finish line goodies. Please check the individual race pages on our website for more details of what's on offer at each event.
Under UK Athletics rules headphones are no longer permitted in events that take place on roads open to traffic and runners risk disqualification if spotted wearing headphones with the exception of bone conducting headphones. Heaphones are permitted for events taking place 'off road' or closed to traffic however you must be able to hear marshal's instructions and other runners around you. Please check individual race pages for more details or call us on 01797 229955.
If the event offers multiple distances on the same day, it is not a problem to change prior to the start of the event. We can switch your entry from the higher distance to the lower for free; however, there will be a charge to upgrade from a lower to higher distance.
We all get that feeling sometimes - you get going, but you just don’t feel up to it! If the event is multiple laps and you wish to drop down distances during the event, that is no problem at all! Just please make sure you let one of the timing team know as you cross the line. If you choose to drop out of a single distance race, please alert one of our marshals, who will be able to assist you.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for our events; however, we do allow deferrals and transfers. Please view our transfer and cancellation policy here.
If you feel unwell or are carrying an injury, we would strongly recommend not running. If you are unsure if you are fit to run, please view the Runner’s Medical Resource website.
We have no issue with transferring your entry and allow free transfers to friends and family members as long as we are notified before the start of the race. It is an extreme safety hazard to run under another person’s race number; any participant found running in another person’s number without notifying us will risk disqualification from this and future events.
