The Oundle Spring 10k & 5k

Start line opens – 8.00 am
Start line closes – 10.00 am

Join us for the long awaited return of races to Oundle!

With the unfortunate cancelation of our traditional Oundle New Year 10k and 5k in January, we’re delighted that the rearranged race will now go ahead as a spring race on Sunday 18th April 2021.

Both our Oundle 10k and Oundle 20 mile races are extremely popular, and we’ve had to post the sold out signs on both in previous years – so now is the time to grab your place.

The 10k is two loops and 5k runners will cover a single lap. The route is all on tarmac, as it follows a scenic course around the gently undulating wide, quiet country lanes in and around the pretty Northamptonshire villages surrounding Oundle. The races carry UK Athletics licences and are accurately measured, both carrying a certificate of course accuracy.

The route is gently undulating, with no significant hills, making both races suitable for those looking for a gentle return to the distance. Both too are perfect for those new to racing as well as experienced runners looking to post a fast time.

So, why not celebrate the return to live racing, shake off those lockdown blues and join us in Oundle?

All finishers will receive a bespoke medal and there are awards for leading runners and age category winners.

We are grateful to Oundle Primary School for their assistance in staging this race.

The race will incorporate our tried and tested Covid safety measures and adhere to the guidelines laid down by UK Athletics.
