The Plaistow Because We Care 5k

Join us for this brand new 5k race for the West Sussex race calendar, part of the Because We Care weekend. The accurately measured single lap route takes you along the flat quiet lanes surrounding the village of Plaistow.

The event will be raising money for the Parish, more information can be found on the website here.

What is more we will also be joined by Lord Sebastian Coe who is taking part in the run!
There will be medals available for all finishers.

The Course
The route starts and finishes at at Plaistow & Kirdford Primary School and is a single loop around the village using the local roads and lanes.

First Aid
St John Ambulance will be in attendance on the day and the course will be marshalled to provide assistance. There will also be a sweep marshal following the race to ensure that nobody is left behind and that all runners are accounted for.
Your individual time and position will be recorded by your electronic chip. We will endeavour to display results as they come into the race centre. Presentations will take place approximately 45 minutes after the first finisher.

Results will be uploaded to www.nice-work.org.uk as soon as possible after the race. All entrants that have supplied a valid and legible email address will receive a copy of the results as soon as possible after the race.
