Celebrate Spring in the beautiful surroundings of Somerley Estate.
We are delighted to announce a brand new event to the Hampshire running calendar, on Sunday 17 July 2022.
Celebrate the start of Spring at the Somerley Estate Half Marathon, 5k & 10k with this exclusive opportunity to run on the beautiful Somerley Estate. Starting and finishing in view of the 18th Century country house the event will take you throughout the Estate.

We will have goodies on offer to all finishers plus a bespoke medal to all finishers. 

With a range of prizes on offer including leading runners and age category prizes for Half Marathon & 10k runners.

We will also be offering a free 2k Children's race so why not celebrate Spring as a family!

For the runners, we present a choice of Half Marathon, 10k or 5k routes using the secure, traffic-free, undulating trails which surround the estate. The Half Marathon is four loops, 10k is two loops whilst 5k runners will do one lap.

The Course

The route will be a lapped 5k route with 10k runners completing two laps and half runners four loops. The route will start close to teh walled Garden before taking you past the house and throughout the Park estate. 

A route map will be available shortly.  

First Aid

St John Ambulance or an alternative medical provider will be in attendance on the day and the course will be marshalled to provide assistance. There will also be a sweep runner following the race to ensure that nobody is left behind and that all runners are accounted for. 
Your individual time and position will be recorded by your electronic chip. Results should be available on our website www.nice-work.org.uk as soon as you cross the finish line. Provisional results will be published as soon as possible after the race has finished and final results will be published as soon as is practical on the day after the race.

All entrants that have supplied a valid and legible email address will receive a copy of the results by email as soon as possible on the first working day after the race.
