Location: Virtual Event, Complete anywhere! Date: Saturday 29th August 2020 to 15th September 2020
Chocks away! Get ready for the Spitfire 10K and Spitfire Family Run! We are bringing the race day feeling to you in a new virtual experience.
We are starting the Battle of Britain commemorations with our annual Spitfire 10K event, but in a slightly different format. To ensure the health and wellbeing of all those involved, Spitfire 10K is going virtual! Book your tickets and be part of this incredible event and challenge yourself whilst supporting the RAF Museum.
The virtual race allows you to tailor the race day experience to fit your schedule and ability. You can choose to run the full distance at once or split the 10K into a few runs; walks, rows or a cycle. You have until 15 September, the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, to complete it.
If you choose to run the 10K and upload your result, we will publish a leader board online after the race. Every runner who completes the 10K in one go and submits their results by midnight on Monday 31 August will appear on the leader board.
There is no minimum age for the Spitfire 10K but we do recommend under 16’s are accompanied by an adult whilst running. You will receive your race pack with Roll of Honour card and t-shirt or vest (if purchased) before the race day, but please ensure you enter before the 14 August to be eligible for this. This date may vary for participants living abroad. Participants living abroad will receive their race pack via email. We will send you your unique Spitfire 10K medal after the race.
All race packs will be sent to the one address, if you would like them sent to different addresses, please complete a separate booking online for each participant.
