Nice Work are pleased to return to Nottingham for the popular Winter Series in 2021/2022.
The races are flat out and back along the embankment and welcomes runners of all standards, including beginners. Part of a six-race series, there will be a medal and finish line goodies to all finishers at each event.
There are also prizes and trophies for winners and winners of vet categories, plus team prizes and a special series prize for 1st Male and 1st Female. Points scored in each race count towards the overall Series prizes (the first 100 male and female finishers in each race score points), with points awarded for race positions and the best three races to count towards series results.
You can enter a single race or save money by purchasing a three race season ticket or a series entry.
The course is an out and back flat route along the embankment.
St John Ambulance or an alternative medical provider will be in attendance on the day and the course will be marshalled to provide assistance. There will also be a sweep runner following the race to ensure that nobody is left behind and that all runners are accounted for.
Points scored in each race count towards overall Series prizes, with the best three races to count towards the final series results.
Your individual time and position will be recorded by manual timekeepers. We will endeavour to display results as they come into the race centre, but please allow time for manual processing. Results will be uploaded to www.nice-work.org.uk as soon as possible after the race. All entrants that have supplied a valid and legible email address will receive a copy of the results as soon as possible after the race.
Race Location: Victoria Embankment, Nottingham, NG2 2LA
Race Headquarters will be by the memorial Gardens.
Nottingham railway station is just over 1 mile away from the park, but you can travel from the station to the race by bus, walk or bike.
