The Bonfire Stampede Virtual Half Marathon, 10k, 5k & 1k

Remember, Remember the 5th of November!!

Celebrate the longstanding tradition of Bonfire Night with our NEW Bonfire Stampede Virtual Half Marathon, 10k, 5k & 1k – and pick up this fabulous banger of a medal!

On the night of November 5th throughout Britain, we commemorate the capture of Guy Fawkes and his foiled attempt at blowing up the houses of Parliament in 1605 with bonfires and fireworks. These traditions have survived to this day and we are excited to launch our NEW Bonfire Stampede Virtual race with a fantastic Bonfire Night themed medal!

There is a choice of distance to choose from, including, a half marathon, 10k, 5k and 1k. Why not use this opportunity to chase a new PB or perhaps, try a further distance?

Race dates: 31st October & 8th November

As Bonfire night is usually held over either the weekend before or after the 5th November, we are holding the virtual race over two weekends (9 days in total). Run your chosen distance at any point over the virtual race period and times will be compiled into race leaderboards, with prizes awarded to winners and leading age categories.

The race is a UK Athletics licenced event.

What is a virtual challenge?
This is a virtual challenge, which means you can take part anywhere in the world, in your own time and at your own pace. This also includes treadmill runs/walks.

This is a family- friendly event, for our younger runners and those new to running, we have a 1k option. Enter as a family (there is a discounted price for family groups) and, in addition to a bespoke medal each, there will be spot prizes awarded to families!

How do I take part?
It's easy to take part, once you have booked we will send you a step-by-step guide.
Simply enter the virtual event and we’ll send you a welcome email with details of how you submit your results. Over race week, capture your run / walk on your favourite tracking device and email it to us along with your epic finishers selfie and we will feature you in the selfie gallery!
