Summer Solstice Virtual Challenge
Tuesday 1st – Monday 21st June 2021
Following its soaring popularity in 2020, the Summer Solstice virtual returns for a second year! Can you improve on last year’s efforts?
21st June marks the beginning of Summer, welcomed by many. It's the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere, meaning plenty of daylight hours to complete your 21 miles!
With Covid restrictions easing for many of us, we want to help make this Summer an action packed one! So take part in the second edition of the Summer Solstice challenge and get everyone active in the sun!
The challenge is to cover 21 miles in 21 days, you can tackle this as you like; a mile a day or all in one go, the choice is yours!
We have a cracking medal to collect for completing the race that will look good in any collection. There’ll be a summer lovin’ runnin’ selfie board with all the action shots from the race period.
We’ll send you a logbook to help keep track of your mileage. There’s no need to stop at 21 miles, we’ll award prizes for those who keep going and clock the most mileage in the time slot, so make sure you log every mile!
What is a virtual challenge?
This is a virtual challenge, which means you can take part anywhere in the world, in your own time and at your own pace. This also includes treadmill runs/walks.
How do I take part?
It's easy to take part, once you have booked we will send you a step-by-step guide and a log book to keep track of your progress.
Simply enter the virtual event and we’ll send you a welcome email with details of how you submit your results. Over race weekend, capture your run / walk on your favourite tracking device and email it to us along with your epic finishers selfie and we will feature you in the selfie gallery!
If you don’t have an activity tracking device you can still take part, just email your finishing time to us and you will still get your medal.
