Overview
This award winning race, sponsored by Beaulieu, Countryside and L&Q's flagship residential development in Chelmsford, is hugely popular amongst runners and comes highly recommended for it's great course, race day atmosphere, enthusiastic marshals and well-appointed event village. Both the marathon and half marathon are accurately measured courses and often used as a good for age qualifying event. Both courses are undulating and run through the tree lined avenues of Central park out onto the rural country lanes.

Running for a Cause 
This race is a major fundraising event for Little Havens Chrildren's Hospice, provides specialist care and support for babies, children and young people living with complex or incurable conditions in Essex. By entering the race, becoming a Havens Hero and thanks to your donations, help families make every day of their lives count.

If you select to register for the race on a HAVENS HEROES ticket, then your entry will include a £12.50 donation to Little Havens
A contribution such as this will pay for the cost of providing half an hour of essential care at the hospice, making a real difference to someone in need. It's the small things that make the biggest difference.
