Volunteering can be an incredibly rewarding experience. You don't need any experience; just bags of enthusiasm, a friendly & helpful disposition and some team spirit!
As a Nice Work volunteer, you'll be instrumental in helping to keep runners safe on the course and to deliver a memorable event with a buzzing race day atmosphere.
Our volunteers are the heroes of race day.
To become a volunteer, you will need...
- To be 18 years or older
- Your own transport.
- A fully charged mobile phone.
- To be a morning person!
- W3W downloaded on your phone (preferable but not necessary)
- To be of a reasonable fitness and in good health; you'll be on the move and outside for the duration of the race.
- A friendly and helpful disposition. You'll be someone who enjoys being part of a fun loving team!
In return you will be given...
- All the equipment and resource you need to help deliver a super race day.
- £25 of Nice Work credit per race to be redeemed against any Nice Work merchandise or race.
- An invite to volunteer socials.
- An opportunity to volunteer in some amazing locations and enjoy the buzz of a fantastic race day!
All our volunteers will be given the equipment they need to help deliver race day. Pre-race instructions will be emailed out in advance and you'll get a volunteer briefing before every race so you know exactly what to expect from your day. It's also a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, be part of your local community, build up your confidence and have some fun!

Once you have completed this questionnaire, our Volunteer Co-ordinator will get in touch with you via email should an opportunity arise in your area. Please don't worry if you haven't heard from us for a while; it may take a while for an opportunity to become available in your area.
