Dover Road Runners go top of Kent Club Champs with 5 fixtures to go!

A ruthless Dover Road Runners took June by storm with victories in the men's races at Charing 10k, Hawkhurst 10k and Otterpool 10k.

After climbing the table through the winter months, Dover RR sat on top for just one month back in April before a record breaking 61 points in May put Tonbridge AC on top of the pile for the first time.

Dover will be pleased to have restored order taking first place back but are by no means comfortable with the looming threat of Tonbridge, Folkestone, Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone hanging over them as we enter the final month.

In other news across the competition, it was a quiet month for Tunbridge Wells Harriers as they slipped down into fourth place after looking like genuine title contenders just a couple of months ago. Ashford & District had a strong month and have now reached the 100 point club, just the sixth club to do so, thanks to a promising evening at the Ashford Striders Charing 10k. Ashford AC made the biggest strides of the month with a move from 10th place up to 7th after scoring 15 points in the month.

Faversham, Lonely Goat and Canterbury Harriers will all be hopeful they can break into the top 10 in the final month.
