We only went and won it!
We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we won Agency of the Year at the Running Industry Awards last night, and the Hastings Half Marathon took the Midsized Event of the Year award. To say we are buzzing is an understatement!
The awards ceremony was held at the end of the Running Industry Alliance conference and was a sell out, with 200 people from all sectors of the industry in attendance. It was a great opportunity to meet others working in the world of running, and importantly, to get dressed up - with no bright green waterproofs in sight...
First and foremost: we want to send the biggest, most heartfelt thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for us. This truly means the world to us at Nice Work and makes everything we do to organise and host running events for our brilliant community feel even more worthwhile. From all of us: thank you.
Nice Work started from humble roots as a family business, starting with the Beckley 10k 21 years ago. Fast forward and Martin and Cathy are now enjoying retired life and their grandchildren. Simon, Debbie and I took the business over 5 years ago and this is by a million miles the proudest moment of our working careers. To win two awards means the absolute world to us and the cheers at the awards dinner said it all! Nice Work is built on kindness, family values and putting on brilliant events, we have an incredible team and these 2 awards are for you. Thank you green team, we did it!
