Sharing your stories

Every runner has their own reason for taking on a challenge. We’re grateful to have the opportunity to witness it week in, week out, at every event.

We’re incredibly proud to provide a platform for runners to achieve a personal goal, raise money for a charity or support a cause that means something to them, and long may it continue!

Across our race team and office team, we regularly hear from runners who would like us to share their fundraising stories. Unfortunately, we are not able to feature every story we receive, but we would still like to give runners the opportunity to tell us what they are doing and why, and how the wider Nice Work community can support where possible.

We will be choosing one runner’s story every three months to share across the Nice Work website, social media channels and email newsletters.

This could be someone raising money for a charity, supporting a local cause, taking on a challenge in memory of someone or simply telling their running story to inspire others.

How to Submit Your Story

To be considered for a future feature, please send us text that includes:

• Between 300 and 500 words telling us your story
• The name of the charity or cause you are supporting
• Why it is important to you
• Details of the Nice Work event or challenge you are taking part in
• A link to your fundraising page
• Any relevant charity, website or social media links
• Three to five photographs

Your submission should tell us a little about who you are, what you are taking on and what has motivated you to do it.

Please only send photographs that you have permission to share and are happy for Nice Work to use across our website, social media channels and email newsletters.

How We Choose

All submissions will be reviewed by the Nice Work team, with one story chosen every three months.

Selections will be made by the team based on the story, its connection to the event and the information and images provided.
