The RunWisborough 10k & 5k

After a fantastic year in 2021, we are excited to announce that the RunWisborough 10k & 5k returns again in 2022!
Although advertised as multi terrain race, this is because a short section of each lap is on a trail, but the vast majority of the route is on flat-ish, tarmac country lanes and the race has the look and feel of a road race.
The route is scenic and showcases the pretty West Sussex village of Wisborough Green, with the start and finish being in the centre of the village utilising the Village Green.
The event has proved popular since its inception in 2016 and the last race, in 2021, attracted over 700 entries. The event is being held to raise funds for Wisborough Green Sports CIO a registered charity (1179541) that provides sports facilities for Wisborough Green and the surrounding area.

Runners of all standards are welcome, including those new to running. There will be food and activities available for the whole family, plus a medal and finish line goodies to all finishers.

There will be a Children's Colour and Obstacle Race for youngsters of all ages, with entries available on the day, subject to availability.

Entry Limit: 1000

Please note, as all of our races are licensed by UK Athletics, we will adhere to all Covid guidelines that are in place at that time.

The Course
The race will start on the road outside the Sports Pavilion on the Village Green. The race uses a multi-terrain 5k route along quiet lanes in and around the village. The route is on the public highway and runners should be aware of the possibility of traffic.

First Aid
St John Ambulance or an alternative medical provider will be in attendance on the day and the course will be marshalled to provide assistance. There will also be a sweep runner following the race to ensure that nobody is left behind and that all runners are accounted for.
Your individual time and position will be recorded by your electronic chip. Results should be available on our website www.nice-work.org.uk as soon as you cross the finish line. Provisional results will be published as soon as possible after the race has finished and final results will be published as soon as is practical on the day after the race.

Trophies and awards will be sent in the post after the event.

All entrants that have supplied a valid and legible email address will receive a copy of the results by email as soon as possible on the first working day after the race.
Race HQ: Village Green, Wisborough Green, West Sussex, RH14 0EE

Wisborough Green is a rural village, so runners may wish to drive to the event. A local field has been provided by a landowner to provide car parking to participants and attendees, which will be well-signposted on the day.

The nearest train station is Billingshurst, but runners should be aware that there is no bus service between Billingshurst and Wisborough Green. It is approximately 3 miles from the station to the Village Green.
