Great event
Lovely running through the forest, a fun well organised event. A bonus the medals were environmentally friendly!

My new favourite race
Always been a fan of tough trail races like the Eridge 10, but this runs it very close. We had rocky trails, streams, lots of mud, hills and more hills and only about a mile of flat in the whole thing, but most all a lot of fun. Great atmosphere despite the weather (drizzle and chilly). I'll be back!

Great scenery - Good steady hills
Karen Ash
Superb tough challenge
Brilliant course, marshals & organisation in pretty wet conditions well done & thank you!
Amy Fearn
Beautiful landscape with some challenging hills
Really well organised and marshals are fab. Great event, especially if you don't like big crowds.

Mud and hills...loved it
A real test. Something different from what I normally run.
Matthew Detemple
Wooded medal
Good fun
Nina Gambier
Great fun up & down.
Was hilly but really enjoyed it. A low pressure event with really welcoming organisers.

Hilly, scenic and enjoyable
I really enjoyed this run, the route was lovely and the hills were very challenging! My only comment would be at the marshall point to turn to do the next loop (10 mile run) or finish (5 mile run) there should be a sign to which direction you go, I ended up doing an extra mile as took the wrong direction which was a bit frustrating, another lady behind me did the same thing so I know I wasn't the only one!
Excellent event in stunning surroundings
This was a great inaugural event and clearly a lot of thought has gone into creating a beautiful, challenging, runnable event. It was friendly, inclusive and well organised. The coffee van was excellent too! Well done to David and the team. I’ll definitely be back next year!

Great event
Amazing scenery, friendly and helpful marshalls, and a luxury to run on a private land with no traffic. Not sure about the event photos like where to find them? Challenging course, easy parking and well organised race overall. I will recommend this event to all my runner friends.

Thanks - this was a great event, well organised with a good atmosphere and worthy attempts to make such events more environmentally friendly.
The pre information was clear. One comment on this (which applies to most events I do) is that when information is sent out again, in the email it might state that any new information included is highlighted, then when looking at the information it is clear that apart from what is highlighted the information is as per what was previously circulated. The would save looking through lots of information to find that in the main it has been read before.

Great location, friendly event and lots of hills.
As it was a Greener Earth event, I wasn't sure why the wooden medals were in a paper envelope. The bag was not needed.

Challenging but beautiful
A stunning location with lots of hills. Despite the hills, a delight to be out there. This will get even better as time moves on. A soon to become jewel in the crown and a must for anyone looking for a training run for a challenging ultra or marathon.

Excellent race. Nice challenge. Definitely would run again.

Recommend highly
Loved this course - beautiful scenery with panoramic views at the very top at heathland meadow flat path. Fantastic downhills and lots of the ‘tasty’ uphills!! Very tranquil as no public roads with traffic to negotiate. Super friendly atmosphere and easy parking.
We ran it in dry hot conditions - I’d like to run it in wet and slippery conditions as it would be a completely different event.
Fabulous supportive, enthusiastic marshalling - thank you lovely Marshalls, you were wonderful! and clear route markings. Minor point was the final Marshall spot where the race splits left for 10 mile second loop and right for 5 mile finish. I was soooo relieved to see a downhill that I went to left instead of right for the 5 mile finish. I felt the marshall could have preempted this by being more directional. However, he might have had an off moment as it was hot hot hot for the marshalls and, I was not on the ball enough to remember what the race director had said at the race briefing about the course split. Maybe a big sign next year saying 10m left and 5m right split?
Recommend highly. Thank you very much for a great morning

Beautiful route and everyone was very friendly!

Stunning scenery, friendly Marshalls
Such a beautiful setting. Also, huge advantage over other beautiful runs I have done as a private park so unlike eg Surrey Hills runs there are no pedestrians/dogs etc. Very friendly race

Loved it
Better pens, couldn’t write on the back of the paper. Fab pre race details. I did miss the 5 mile turn off, I think I was the only one who did

Beautiful hilly route
Well organised with green approach. Loved paper cups at water station and medals made of wood. Great atmosphere.
