Soak up the last of the summer sun and take a step back through time as you race through history in this fantastic 10k.

Event Overview:
The BB10k is a treat to race. It takes you through the pretty and historic streets of Battle, and explores the surrounding villages before finishing at the ancient Battle Abbey. A fast course with some hilly sections, this is a great race for beginners and experts alike. It enjoys a wonderful race-day buzz as runners take to the start line and you won't be short of some fantastic local support; in previous years, Battle residents have come out in full force to cheer and support our runners as they charge towards the finish line. You won't want to miss this racing gem!

Course Details:
Starting in Battle High Street, heading up to the roundabout, turning around and going down the High Street, along Lower Lake and turning into Powdermill Lane. The race then heads towards Catsfield before turning back towards Battle along Catsfield Road. From here you turn back towards Battle and head along North Trade Road and finish on the Abbey Green with the historic Battle Abbey as the backdrop.

For younger runners, there is also a Junior Run.   It is open to those aged 9 - 14 years old and starts at 9.30am, starting outside The Abbey with an out and back up the High Street. Road closures will be in place.

A note on headphones:
Due to new UKA rules that came into force on 01 April 2024, in the ear and over the ear headphones are no longer permitted at running events unless otherwise stated. Bone conducting headphones are permitted however, if you do choose to wear bone conducting headphones, then we ask that you have the volume turned down low enough to hear the marshal instructions.
