Holly and challenging, but worth it!
Adrian Jackson
Well organised, enjoyed the challenges, lucky to have it local to me!
For those not wearing bone conduction headphones I would like to hear more music locations on route, music is great to push you on! Maybe some toilets provided nearer the start line, for that 'last minute dash'. Overall a great running event.
James Collett
Good course, wel organised, good fast field
Lennard van Diggelen
A Scenic route with a good running crowd!
Challenging route but worth it
Nice country lanes, fast downhills, tough climbs. Great test of spring training fitness. Good range of runners makes this an event with a community feel to it.
Charlotte Minchell
Well organised & enjoyable.
Only improvement I can think of is the photos - the start photos were 80% at the front so all the same runners. I gave up looking for a finish photo - it would have been easier to look under finish times!
Erica Jones
Fun and challenging
There’s a great atmosphere and the hills are a fantastic challenge.
Martin Cullen
Friendly popular half, mainly flat through picturesque countryside
Jonathan Reilly
Great way to spend a Sunday morning
Madeleine Armstrong Plieth
Hilly but beautiful
Friendly and welcoming event, with some beautiful scenery, but challenging hills. Great to have the sports hall for getting changed and staying warm and dry before and after the run. Particularly appreciated the marshals at the Portaloos keeping the queue moving quickly!
Gerald Frizzelle
Always a must-do, whatever the weather. So many enthusiastic marshals and great support along the way!
James Moore
Downhill at the start so killer hill to climb after
Alex Metcalf
A tough but enjoyable course
This is a tough hilly course but one of my favourites.
Scenic, friendly and well supported.
Hilly but great fun
The perks are what make the TW Half Marathon... bands, beer and free burger at St John's Yard. Please keep those going!

I hope you like hills...
This race is, in a word, cruel. I've run other races of all lengths, including 2 marathons, and i don't think I've tackled anything this challenging.
You need to practise hills, it's not just undulating, there's a mountain in there somewhere. I was warned and I still didn't fully comprehend it, so here's what you need to know.
There's a perfectly normal amount of undulation throughout the course, it's tough but manageable. Then at the halfway point, there's a hill that goes on for a mile and a half. If you can conquer this, nothing will stop you, but it may break you as it broke me.
Also if the organisers are looking for feedback: The speaker system in the race village was deeply distorted, never understood a word of what the nice team making announcements were saying.
Lisa Fossey
Well organised, great course, would run again!
Paulina Wookey
Well organised enjoyable race
The marshalls are brilliant, so supportive and encouraging!
Helen Gaunt
Well established organised event with great community support
Hilly …..but take on the challenge !!
Another fantastic event
Thanks to all the team that put this event on. It really is a challenging course but so well organised. Very enjoyable from start to finish. Thank you.
Nat Hunt
Great first ever half marathon. Very well organised.
Thank you! See you next year!
