Not enough medals for everyone but nice event Shame really

Great race, brilliantly organised by the TWH. Spring Hill a real at Mile 8 but thoroughly enjoyable all round.

A challenging course but a beautiful scenic route. Friendly Marshals all along the route and segregated running route from traffic.

Brilliant event with great staff/marshals who were encouraging and helpful throughout the whole day. Tough course with a long hill at one point but excellent scenery. Water stations and facilities all through the course. The crowds coming out to cheer was a great bonus as well. Keen to do it again next year!

Pre race catering facilities could be better. A proper coffee stand would be appreciated...

Well organised but to be truly inclusive and beginner friendly you need to have medals at the end for all finishers. It would be really disappointing to finish your first HM and not receive one.

Great organisation and atmosphere, would recommend to anyone and keen to do it again myself :)

Loads of friendly marshalls, an example to other events of how to have enough portaloos with paper(!), great scenery.
This is a hilly course, which is fine and well advertised, but worth being aware it's difficult to pace like a flatter race.
Slight issue with traffic delayed the start a few minutes, not a big issue but ideally avoided.

Excellent organisation great logistics (HQ, toilets etc)

Totally deflated.... to be told 'we've run out of medals' at the finish.

I’ve done this twice now and loved it both times! Support is great, Marshalls are numerous and really helpful and positive. The route is challenging which makes it’s interesting and gives your legs and mind different things to think about, I shall definitely be back next year as it’s one of my favourites!!

Fantastic atmosphere - great marshals and cheering along the course. Very well organised with informative emails before the event - I particularly appreciated the parking options.

I've done this half-marathon 3 times; it was my first ever half-marathon back in 2024. It's always a lovely event, and I always enjoy it as it's a tough course.

However, would love to see the talking at the start of the race happen before the start time, as we always end up starting 5-10 minutes later than we should.

Also, it's the first time I saw the final few people at the back of the race get put onto the pavement, even though they were well within the 3-hour cutoff limit that is listed for the race.

Other than that, the event is always brilliant, organiser and marshals are friendly and helpful, and atsmosphere is always brilliant.

Delay in starting due to the individual starting the race providing everyone his life story, parts of the course were very narrow due to traffic/ land or lack of closures. Picturesque route and fantastic volunteers.

Friendly to beginners in all ways except the hills. Lady in charge of toilets deserves special mention - Fiona?

Ran out of medals which considering I booked my place months ago was disappointing. Guess they gave them to the last minute entries instead. Won’t be running this again.

Well organised and the support along the way from marshals and crowds was fantastic. Got me around!
