Brilliant
Particular thanks to the Marshals who do an excellent job
Jess Hardy
Great route, tough but great!
Neil Turner
Brilliant race - excellent course, very well organised, and superb marshals throughout. Will be back!!
Shirley Matthews
Tough , undulating course, well organised, as a slower runner, I missed out on a medal.
Thank you for your thoughts on our 2026 event. We are pleased you found the race overall was well organised, but truly sorry that you didn't receive a medal on finishing. We feel that all of our runners deserved a medal on completion of the course and we are looking into the situation to understand why this occurred. In the meantime, all those affected should receive their medal in the post very soon... we hope not to keep you waiting long. And, in the meantime, we hope that you will consider joining us again for 2027!

Low fuss, well organised race with a nice atmosphere.
Really enjoyed this half, with everything well planned and a scenic looped course through pretty villages and the infamous hill around Mile 8. Clearly well supported by local community. Only constructive feedback would be to crack on with the safety briefing a bit earlier for a more prompt start in the wind/rain this morning. All noted some delay was from ensuring road safety.

Incredibly well organised and brilliant support
Big thanks to all the marshals

Hilly road marathon with a fast last mile downhill.
Lovely event. Will be back next year.
Bit too congested in first couple of miles this year as road restricted due to works which seemed to have a knock on effect.
Jeff Baker
Well organised but retaining that club level vibe
Michelle Butler
All well organised except lack of medal at the end
Well organised bag drop off and start facilities. Well marshalled and good support. However on completion of the distance extremely disappointed to find had run out of medals. This is not acceptable at all. Payment is inclusive of medal and it really isn't the same to be told one will be posted out. Those in the last to finish are often those for whom it has been more of a challenge and to complete the distance then find there are no medals left is not acceptable. You surely only sell as many places as you have medals? Limit late entries to ensure you do not run out surely?
Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased that you enjoyed the HQ facilities and understand your disappointment at not receiving a medal, something that should have been available to all our runners after their hard work and effort. We are currently exploring the circumstances around how this happened so that we can ensure it does not happen again. In the meantime, we are arranging for you to receive a medal as soon as we can get it to you. We know that this will not dispel your disappointment of missing out on receiving your medal at the finish line but we feel that you deserve one nonetheless! Thank you for taking part and we hope that you will join us again next year.

1st time and tunbridge wells and was a hard course with the hill but enjoyable. Marshalls were brilliant on the course and gave great encouragement and nice to have local residents out around route cheering runners on.
Water tables were about right.
Overall a good experience

Really well organised event, as always. Fab marshals and local support

Good
I feel like this race is aimed more for faster runners, the emails in the lead up reminded us of the strict 3 hour cut off for road closure which was fine as they also had the option of early start if you felt you couldn’t achieve sub 3 hour which was great for slower runners. Unfortunately whilst running from the rusthall area the event organisers decided at the 2hr point that it was time to open the roads and told us to get on the paths because they were being pushed to open the roads early. this lead into a muddy, slippery, puddle mess and we ended up having to walk because there was also pedestrians. It was very annoying to be told the roads would be closed and then all of a sudden to decide to open them early!

Well Organised as Always
Great event, done multiple times, would highly recommend.
1:30 pacers were a bit out of sorts today, went out far too quick and were hanging around at the end. Was more 1:27/28 pacing which was off-putting

Great course !!!!
Great half marathon. Very challenging but throughly enjoyed.
Aimee Morrison
Challenging course, stunning views
Amazingly organised, great team who brought the energy despite the weather
Vassilis Sakizlis
Well organised. Empty roads plenty of volunteers and enthusiasm.
I would prefer more volunteers on the uphill encouraging us and also bins near volunteers to throw our gels in.
Colin Ricketts
Brilliant race with great orgainsation and highly encouraging support from marshalls and race officials
This race gets better every year. The organisers listen to feedback and continually look to innovate. This year a quiet zone and on course toilets were introduced but behind all that is the same meticulous organisation underpinned by faboluosly supportive volunteers - oh and a scenic but challenigng course! The Race Director and Club should take a bow for putting on a great event year after year.

Brilliant race

Challenging but enjoyable

Challenging HM but a very rewarding run around the Kent countryside. Really well organised with a huge number of brilliant marshalls along the way.
A single loop run which was also a bonus. I really enjoyed this one and would definitely recommend it. I can’t state enough how well organised the event was. There were even oranges slices that had been cut up for runners at the end which was so very welcome!
