Very friendly, well organised, lovely starter and volunteers. I loved seeing all the animals as we ran around!

It was my birthday and the queue was so enormous, we didn't get a chance to get back in to the zoo, unfortunately which was a shame as it was the reason we did the event, my partner was seen by ambulance assistants after induring an slight panic of injury, and before they allowing to go, the queue was so big and long it went down the drive of the entry of the car park, I feel apart from not being able to get back in the park, the actual event and run was fabulous.

I do feel maybe the hard core runners could do an earlier time as us newbies are a bit overwhelmed by runners racing past to get thier personal bests and yo get round twice to make it a 10k, but we managed it and will be back for the next one

Just wish I hadn’t been full of cold

Where else can you run past lions and tigers and gorillas and lemurs and an entire herd of elephants? It’s a fab run, super beginner friendly as everyone is there to see the animals and take their time! Very well organised by Nice Work, great job by Kev on the mic, highly recommended. Will definitely be back next year.

The sun was out, the breeze was nice, even the animals came out to play.

Keep up the good work

One of my favourite runs, this was my third time, and it just gets better!

My first 5k so impressed with it all from start to finish well organised marshalls so encouraging even had a round of applause from the gorillas

Great fun. Would thoroughly recommend and will run it again.
Special mention to the lady who did the pre-race warm-up. Barking mad but brilliant :)
Hopefully constructive criticism: Agree with others regarding starting waves. Needed fewer in each wave as lots of bottle necks early on. Also pre-race announcer was inaudible towards the back of the waiting runners.
All-in-all a great event. Running past the elephant pen as they were running along with us was magical!

My first time doing this one loved it definitely do it again next time
