maybe a very small stage for the warm up lady, she was most enthusiastic and though I couldn't see her, just followed everyone else's lead.

A lovely 5K. Beautiful surroundings. They had an issue where a very small section of the route had to be walked but I think it’s amazing that they put the animals welfare at the forefront. The Marshalls were great, the chap down by the park was brilliant and full of energy. A great run and I look forward to returning next year.

Beautiful setting , so lovely to see the animals out . As a two lap course there were some very fast runners needing to push through and at times it felt like an accident was waiting to happen . However we were told as slower runners to walk certain sections …

I can’t understand why anyone would want to hammer round this course , there are plenty of 5ks to enter if you want to run a really fast race The whole point of this is to raise money for charity and also enjoy being amongst the animals as they are being fed their brekkie . I would say this is a perfect beginners race , if it weren’t for the congestion at points .

This is a beautiful course , felt so privileged to be running among the animals . Had to keep taking pictures !

There were some levels of safety issues when it came to overtaking. I was near the front end on the 2nd lap there were people all over the path. Perhaps a reminder on the speaker at the start or “keep left/right” signs.

I hope the Foundation did well from money raising etc. I entered the "Champions" option as the extra cash goes to Aspinall to support their important work, good to have this option.

Maybe do an earlier run for those wanting a PB when your new to running and have fast runners shouting get out the way or move over on a very busy quite tight in places setting its not fair parts of the course are not designed to speed around they all get round in no time so starting the race earlier for them would be good for everyone then I don't have to get shouted at

Everything was amazing as always but post race food there was no gluten fee option so maybe fruit could be an option ( not a complaint just an opinion)

Very friendly, well organised, lovely starter and volunteers. I loved seeing all the animals as we ran around!

It was my birthday and the queue was so enormous, we didn't get a chance to get back in to the zoo, unfortunately which was a shame as it was the reason we did the event, my partner was seen by ambulance assistants after induring an slight panic of injury, and before they allowing to go, the queue was so big and long it went down the drive of the entry of the car park, I feel apart from not being able to get back in the park, the actual event and run was fabulous.

I do feel maybe the hard core runners could do an earlier time as us newbies are a bit overwhelmed by runners racing past to get thier personal bests and yo get round twice to make it a 10k, but we managed it and will be back for the next one

Where else can you run past lions and tigers and gorillas and lemurs and an entire herd of elephants? It’s a fab run, super beginner friendly as everyone is there to see the animals and take their time! Very well organised by Nice Work, great job by Kev on the mic, highly recommended. Will definitely be back next year.

What a brilliant race. Excellently organised from start to finish, couldn’t fault it.
