Ran out of prizes so 5k runners didn't get any. Failed to direct the lead runner on the correct route.

I’ve done this race for 4 years running now, a challenging route but I preferred the new route this year for the 10K option.
This year the bottleneck at the start was worse than ever and it continued for 1KM. It would be a good idea for future years for the 5K race to start 10 minutes after the 10K.
Really liked the new medal this year.

The start is very frustrating as too many people for single file, this impacts times.

Could have done with an earlier water stop as the weather was hot. Glad I carried my own.
Could tge organisers consider starting the 5 k 10 or 15 min later to alleviate the hold up at the beginning.

Please consider starting the 5k race maybe 10 minutes after the 10k to try and stop some of the congestion at the bottleneck immediately after the start. It’s so frustrating when doing the 10k to be stuck behind people almost walking so early in the race.

There was a big bottle neck for the first 1km so maybe staggered starts for the 5k and 10k could be a possibility?

Really enjoyed the race and the scenery. The organisation and support was good. One bit of feedback would be to stagger the runners at the start - perhaps let the 5k go first then 10k 5 or 10 minutes later?

Some very tough hills on and off road. There was a large gate that should have been opened but other than this a well organised event although i have smdone the 10k back in 2019 and 2024 now and both times tracked around 5.9 miles not 10k

There were quite a few slow bits where bottlenecks occurred earlier on in the race but which couldn't be helped.
