This was my 2nd ever 10k run in my life, because this went so well I have since booked myself for multiple other running events every month until July 2024. Most specifically, and least expected I thoroughly enjoyed the band of all things! Not my usual cup of tea, but a mighty way to finish such a fantastic event.

Loved the drumming troupe, made the event have a carnival atmosphere.

Fantastically well organised the marshalls along the way way very encouraging- love the cow bells!
The samba drum band at the end were great too.

I think for next time, it will be really good if we get a wave start based on finish times so we can have an opportunity to hit our target times, a lot of people got stuck on the little bridge in Abbey Gardens and eventually had to resort to walk. See you guys next year.

Despite lots of marshals, would recommend more direction arrows along the whole route to ensure runners don't go wrong/don't miss turns.

I think the finishing times at the start funnel could have been better established to allow people to line up. Also, the route out of the back of the abbey garden was too narrow which made everyone have to stop and file through one by one. Overall, great experience though!

I didn't get a drink of water, not enough people on the water station to hand out water.

A running shoes recycling box would be great, lots of runners have trainers in the back of cupboards not wanting to throw away but can be a good way to encourage shoes to be recycled.

Good atmosphere and a lot to look at for a road race.

The whole event was an absolute pleasure, the build up on Angel Hill was tons of fun, beautiful weather on the day and a lovely 10k route, could not recommend more highly and I will definitely be back next year.

Bag drop area was rather open

Prize giving was far too late - most people had left, including some of the winners

A really fun event. We will definitely join up next year! Loved the drumming band. Bigger n even better next year, I bet!
