The PWRR and Nice Work are delighted to announce the return of the Tigers 10k! The race is hosted in partnership with The Princess of Wales's Royal Regiment of The British Army and raises vital funds to support our veterans and serving soldiers when they need it most. Show your support and join the challenge by running a virtual 10k, your way.

Running for a Cause 
In 1992, The Tigers was formed by amalgamating The Queen's Regiment and Royal Hampshire Regiment. The Tigers not only support our younger veterans and serving soldiers but also our venerable older veterans from those regiments and their forebears. Our soldiers not only suffer physical injuries; many of the Tigers suffer from the mental anguish of multiple deployments to theatres of war. The number of suicides over the last few years is a testament to their daily struggle.

But, The Tigers Benevolent Fund works to support and advise members of the Regiment and their families to guide them through difficult times and relieve hardship and distress. Maybe they will help to purchase a mobility scooter, allowing a WW2 veteran to leave their flat. Or perhaps they'll help to renovate the house of a young veteran amputee, allowing him and his family to live a full and rewarding life. 

By taking part in this challenge, you are having a significant impact on the lives of our National Heroes. Thank you.

Medals
By completing this 10k challenge, you will earn yourself a bespoke Tigers Virtual 10k medal. Our medal designs are all unique and made bespoke for each event. If you've taken part in the challenge over the last few years, then you'll be able to carry on collecting the set! Your medal will be posted to you at the address you provide whilst booking your entry. We will attempt to dispatch your medal within 7 - 10 days after the end of the challenge on 31 October 2025. In order to receive a medal, you must have submitted your result. But, don't worry, we'll send you all the information you need so that you can do this.

Challenge Duration
The challenge officially starts on Wednesday 1st October 2025 and closes on Friday 31st October 2025. Participants are welcome to join the challenge after the start date but you must complete your 10k and submit your result between 01 & 31 October 2025.

Who can participate & how do I take part? 
The event is open to all abilities. It can be completed by running or walking, either indoors or outdoors. Once you have entered, we will send you a step-by-step guide to get you started and to let you know how to submit your result. It couldn't be easier!

To feature on the results board, you must complete the race and submit your result by Friday 31 October 2025.
