Overview
Previously known as the Tenterden 5, this superb and popular race offering is enjoying a new lease of life as the Wittersham 5. The race enjoys some wonderful local support with cheery marshals and some fab running folk. The course wends through some of the prettiest landscapes in Kent and there is a car and BBQ offering at the finish line. Runners of all standards are welcome. Who can resist?

Running for a Cause 
The Wittersham 5 is supporting two wonderful local charities for 2025:

The Wittersham Sports Club: A hub of the community, this clud supports sports and activities in the village for every generation and is run entirely by colunteers. Without valuable funds raised through charitable evens such as the Wittersham 5, they are unable to continue funding important village outreach projects.

Team Ben Hammond: This amazing organisation works to raise funds and awareness for local heart screening for young people between the ages of 14 & 35yrs. In July 2016, 15 year old Ben Hammond died from an undiagnosed heart condition. On average 12 young people a week die from undiagnosed heart conditions. Many of these conditions can be picked up by heart screening but this service is not offerred by the NHS. Working closely with the charity Cardian Risk in the Young (CRY), Team Ben Hammond have set up a memorial account where all funds raised go towards funding screening days which are carried out by CRY. A screening day costs £5000 and 100 young people can be screened in this time.
