The 21st running of this popular 15 mile event takes place this summer.
A Wadhurst Runners event, this race has consistently been voted one of the UK's best races.

Important race update
Due to the government announcement on Monday 14th June, that Covid restrictions must remain in place for at least four more weeks, this event will now adopt our Covid 19 race protocols. All entrants will be emailed with details of the protocols that have been put in place. The main affect of these is the need for rolling or wave starts and we will, therefore be operating open start lines.

Minibus service from Wadhurst Station
The Course The Start/Finish of the race is located a short walk from the Race HQ in Blacksmiths Lane. The race then takes you on a downhill section to Bewl Water and after covering a circuit you make your way back up the undulating lanes of Wadhurst back to the finish.
First Aid St John Ambulance will be in attendance on the day and the course will be marshalled to provide assistance. There will also be a sweep runner following the race to ensure that nobody is left behind and that all runners are accounted for.
Your individual time and position will be recorded by your electronic chip. Results should be available on our website www.nice-work.org.uk as soon as you cross the finish line. Provisional results will be published as soon as possible after the race has finished and final results will be published as soon as is practical on the day after the race.
Trophies and awards will be sent in the post after the event.
All entrants that have supplied a valid and legible email address will receive a copy of the results by email as soon as possible on the first working day after the race.

The race headquarters is located within the sports hall at Uplands Community College.
There will be free parking available at the race HQ on a first come first served basis. Once this car park is full an over flow car park will be available adjacent to the Greyhound Pub. Please take note of any parking charges or restrictions that may be in force.
There will be a free courtesy minibus running collections from Wadhurst Stations for all trains arriving before 09:30.
