My 1st attempt at this event, thoroughly enjoyed it, friendly vibe from organisers & competitors. Cakes & beer if u wanted them

Well organised race, great crowds and super friendly marshals. However was surprised to not see any food/gels/squash at the aid stations for such a lengthy run. Other race organisations around Bewl tend to offer these.

Highly recommend this race! I did the 15 which was tough but stunning and so friendly!! Thank you SO much !

Great organisation and atmosphere. Beautiful route. Challenging but fun.
Beers and cakes in the end is a great touch along with the medal and t-shirt.

Just to note - t-shirt is extremely small and undersized in my opinion. That was a little disappointing as it doesn't fit at all.

But still such a positive experience. Organisers were amazing and so friendly. Will be back for sure!

Nice and shady for the most part, very good volunteers. Nice run along the shore of Bewl.

The hill back up at the end is a bit brutal though! but well worth it.

Largely good running. But a section through a field had thick grass that obscured an uneven surface. At times this was pretty dangerous and I'm surprised there weren't more injuries here. It needed flattening.

`unlimited free cake at the end.

Marshalls were great and the course was very well marked. Lovely medal too

Please start future races earlier in the morning, it was very hard in the heat with a race start of 10.25am.

Beautifully organised as always by Nicework & fabulous encouraging marshalls with lots of locals helping with extra water today so thank you to all was really tough with pollen levels & heat & humidity.

This is a challenging run, but well worth the effort! The scenery and variety of terrain-fields, road and woods are all fantastic. It’s a tough one, but I’ve just done it for second time and will enter next year, so it can’t be THAT bad!

I had a blast! Loved every minute of it.
Shade for runners who have finished and are waiting for team mates would be really nice.

Bewl Water 15 Mile is a challenge for any runner. The length and rapid changes throughout the course keep you on your toes, while the technical terrain and hills will make even experienced runners focus down to do their best. We were well cared for by all of the volunteers at the race village and at water stations over the course. This isn't a full service trail run, though, so pack your own food and iso! You'll be well rewarded with a wide variety of cakes and a selection of bitter and pale ale at the end. Travel with a friend to reduce parking and navigation difficulties.

Fantastic race and well organised. Only issue was the queue for collecting numbers. Would suggest posting in advance, or finding a way to shorten the queues.

I was left wondering how ordinary cars would have managed with parking in a hilly field if the ground had been muddy

I did speak to Mark about this, I was supporting one of my friends who was running the 5 mile race after not running for the last month.

The sweep and adjudicator were right on our heels and it felt very intimidating, not sure why they were so close.

Will hopefully do again next year
