Overall good, needs starting waves
As many others have mentioned, the lack of organised waves at the start meant a lot of congestion. Organising into pace groups would help this massively. Otherwise an enjoyable event
Very disappointed that water had run by the time I’d run back, considering we didn’t get the wind coming back and it was a lot warmer.

Excellent event
Really good event with brilliant support along the length of the course.
Real potential for a PB on the course depending on the weather, the wind can be horrendous along that stretch of coast
(just like today's event).

Lovely fast flat race
Water station ran out of water/had packed up so slower runners didn't have water on return leg.
Bag drop was shocking, if you are going to provide one, it has to be managed... not just a tarp on the floor near registration which is a free for all and open to theft.
Elaine Bentley
Great run
Very friendly, great atmosphere, great run
Oliver Cooper
A good route
It was a good race. My only issue is that it was very congested at the start, so it would have been good if there were waves.

Great event
Came all the way from Derby. I heard about the race and wanted to expirience it in real time. I loved it and consider it as one of my favorite run. The whole team and volunteers had been astounding. Looking forward to next year.

Excellent event

Good event
Good event, though adding some music and a proper start/finish arch would put the cherry on top.

Junior race could be longer
My little one who is 7 y/o ran the junior race which was 600m - so not even a junior parkrun distance. He enjoyed it but said that he wanted to run further than to the cone and back. I feel like it could be much further for the younger ones.

Great 10k race
Can you send out the bibs for the children's race with the 10k next year? Only 2 people volunteering giving out the bibs and a very long queue with a lot of people writing their details on the back of the bibs on that table causing more congestion meant my kids missed the start of the race along with a few others. They ran the 300m down the seafront and back again, got their medal and said they never want to do another race again as it was boring :(
The 10k was well organised with plenty of marshals and supporters cheering us on.

Fab race
This is one of my favourite races but I wish it wasn't a mass start. Far too congested at the start resulting in lost time if aiming for a specific result. Please consider having waves please
michael Rix
Very pleasant
Ben Thornhill
1000 people and 10 potaloos not enough didn't hear a gun to know when the race actually started, people need to start the race in stages
Louise Hall
Loved the fact it was flat so was open to all abilities
The path was so narrow it was so hard to actually run where you wanted too as barley any room to get past anyone
Matt Webb
Flat and fast
Totally flat course; perfect for PBs. You can get boxed in during the first kms, however.
Catherine Kandie
Amazing atmosphere, flat course good for pb..
Martin Murray
Great Race
Only comment would be the start could be better controlled, as spectators took up half the path!
Lisa Cooper
Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Great coastal flat course
I would have preferred to see the start in waves. It was so busy it was difficult to weave between slower runners & therefore slowed me down. Also the results took a long time to become available compared to other events that I've entered with other organisations.
Great atmosphere though, fantastic support from the marshalls and locals, lovely medal and the freebies at the end were much appreciated
