The award-winning Hadleigh Legacy 10k is not your average trail race. This legendary sell-out event is designed to push runners to their limits across one of the toughest and most demanding 10k courses around! Every mile presents a new challenge, and there are almost no easy sections. This is a race for those who enjoy getting dirty, digging deep, and earning every step. If you're looking for a fast and flat course, this isn't it - the Hadleigh Legacy 10k is a true trail running challenge that rewards grit, resilience and a never give up attitude. 

It's tough, unforgiving and definitely not for the fainthearted, but that's its appeal! Crossing the finish line is an achievement to be proud of, and in 2027 every finisher will receive our brand-new redesigned finisher's medal, created to celebrate the Legacy of this iconic event, recognising the determination it takes to conquer it. Race entry prices have been retained at 2026 levels, ensuring this challenge remains accessible to returning and first time runners. Runners will also have the opportunity to purchase our exclusive new 2027 race t-shirt, featuring a fresh design inspired by the history and spirit of the Hadleigh Legacy 10k!

Route Information
Expect relentless hills, energy sapping climbs, steep descents, deep mud and technical terrain that will test your strength, endurance, balance and determination from start to finish. The circuit is closed but may include occasional walkers or dog walkers - exercise caution while running.

Elite Wave
2027 will, once again, see an elite wave with further wave starts to follow after as part of the main race; details of this will be included in the race-day info sent out via email a few days before the event.
