Excellent event, well run and great atmosphere.
Another runner, whom I hadn't met before, came along side me and encouraged me during the 2nd half. She even walked when I had to. She was an embodiment of what these local runs are all about. Danielle Morgan, number 95, thank you.
Lovely event, beautiful location. Well organised. Thanks
Scenic, small and perfectly formed!
Lots of marshals who were encouraging and helpful which was great.
Great route
For the 10k run maybe more signs or a few more Marshall of a few places out the back by the creek. Overall very friendly lovely medal.
For the family fun run. If the children are to run on their own next time More Marshall as this was the problem for the start. or keep them within sight just do the big loop a few times.
Well organised scenic route
Great run great location
My first organised run in 5 years and it was great. Loved the route and the organisation was fab
Great route and fantastic people
Great day for all the family with the 5k 10k and family run options! Lovely route and great atmosphere
Very well organised and lovely supportive staff :)
Course got messed up.
My son's first "proper" run and the course got messed up so instead of being a mile was about 1/2 km and 3 minutes. Not ideal and feels a bit of a waste of time and money having travelled an hour each way for it.
Fantastic event
Wonderful event, glad to be part of an incredible charity to raise funds to help babies and their families
Thank you to everyone involved xxx
I had such a good time
This was my first race and I loved it. Thank you.
Amazing cause and a fabulous feel good event!
Very well organised using a very pretty course
Good but challenging
The race was pretty well organised, for some unexplained reason there was a delay before the start of the race. Pushing the already somewhat late 10am start closer to 10:30am. With that day already set to be warm, it wasnt ideal to all be standing around in the sun for a few more minutes.
Marshalls were all encouraging and warned of any tree roots or dips coming up.
I am by no means a runner or athlete of any kind, so found the whole course quite challenging. So for beginners I would reccomend the 5K option. For more advanced runners/athletes I would say go for the 10k option.
For some reason the t-shirts were handed out after the event. I think it would be better to hand them out at the beginning, so that everyone can wear them while racing and feel part of a team. As the whole idea was to fundraise for the wonderful Oliver Fisher Special care charity.
Challenging but a beautiful course. Medal was fantastic and the t shirt.
Thank you for a lovely morning.
Motivated me to start running again !
This was a very enjoyable morning with a positive atmosphere. The course was rather challenging due to the hills and the warm weather but the run has motivated me to try and start running again.
I felt that the event was well organised despite a blip in the start times.
It was so nice to see parents and babies that have been nursed on the unit.
My only suggestion would be perhaps have a hot/cold drinks and snacks stall for the supporters/spectators to purchase refreshments.
Thankyou very much team OFSCBT.
Good
Hilly course, but for a great cause. Real mix of skillsets, but was made challenging by the heat on the day.
The run is the best thing I ever did
I had sm fun the money foes to a great place too they even offered money and medals and healthcare
A fantastic family event.
A great event for all the family. Very well organised, friendly marshals and good support
Great cause to run for
A couple of parts were not marshalled and signs not very visible of way to go so was a bit confusing
It should def be advertised as a very hilly hard 10k ..i run eveyday and this was a tough Trail course so not a beginners route
Marshalls were Amazing and encouraging
