I was one of the slower runners and loved the route. Even the hills. The unmown grass was a challenge to run in! Lovely to see the Cadets marshalling. The two girls were brilliant. Would have been nice if the lads had spoken!! A bit of a clap or an enthusiastic well sone goes a long way when you’ve still got 3k to go!!

It's for a fantastic charity, so I cannot complain at all. I signed up to see East Sussex, but close to home due to how I lost my dad (I didn't appreciate the significance of the event, to be honest. I signed up for the views and didn't think about the title). I'll bring some cash for a t-shirt next time.

I am getting into running again, I am not a brilliant runner but managed the 5km. Hopefully, be faster next year.

Good work by the staff, and the Marshals from the ATC.

Always nice to take part in this event on a lovely summer evening in the scenic Ashburnham Estate and for a great cause.

Everyone friendly and supportive

More toilets would be ideal, 4 didn't seem adequate for the amount of people. The ground perhaps being mowed a bit more, as very tricky running in some areas at the start and end and one of our team just avoided a twisted ankle as could not see a large dip in ground overgrown with grass. Other than that we love the race and its our 3rd year attending! Thanks to everyone involved!

If ever there was a friendly race this is one of them. The course is tough but there is no pressure to go fast.

I would love to say beginner friendly, I think it depends on what running they have done before due to terrain/ hills. But I would recommend everyone trying it

Just as a note for next year it would be good to inform people of prices for food/drink. We brought cash but not enough as we didn’t know prices!
