The 10K race is a two lap, multi-terrain course around the lakes within the beautiful rural grounds of Ashburnham Place. It will be run on a mixture of grass, trails and tarmac paths. 5K Runners will do just one lap before returning to the finish. The Children’s race will be on the field.
St John Ambulance or an alternative medical provider will be in attendance on the day and the course will be marshalled to provide assistance. There will also be a sweep runner following the race to ensure that nobody is left behind and that all runners are accounted for.
Race HQ: Ashburnham Place, Battle, East Sussex, TN33 9NF
Ashburnham Place is roughly 5 miles outside of the village of Battle, just off the A271. Ashburnham Place will be on your right if travelling from Battle and there are signs marking the entrance. There will be ample parking available for the race.
For those wishing to arrive by public transport, there are train services into Battle Station, from where you can take a taxi to the race (there are taxis just outside the station). You can also catch the train to Bexhill Station, from which it is around a 7 mile taxi journey to Ashburnham Place.
