As the race on New Year's Day was sadly postponed due to the third period of lockdown we are delighted to announce that the new date for the 2021 event will be Sunday 3rd October.
So a little later in the year than we had planned, this popular race takes place around the picturesque Bewl Water Reservoir on the Kent/East Sussex border.
There is a choice of 5k or 10k distances. The course is not only beautifully scenic, but also virtually flat – the perfect opportunity to test your pace. PB’s are likely!
The Lamberhurst 10k or 5k is also a great chance for those new to running to experience a race day. Especially if you have taken up running during the lockdowns.
The race features chip timing and prizes will be awarded to the leading runners and age category winners. Finish line goodies* and a bespoke medal will be on offer for every finisher.
* Depending on current Covid restrictions that may be in place.
The Course This is a scenic run starting and finishing at Bewl Water. The 10k race is a two lap course along around the Reservoir. A final route map will be announced shortly.
The 5k race will be one lap.
First Aid St John Ambulance will be in attendance on the day and the course will be marshalled to provide assistance. There will also be a sweep marshal following the race to ensure that nobody is left behind and that all runners are accounted for.
Your individual time and position will be recorded by your electronic chip. We will endeavour to display results as they come into the race centre. Results will be uploaded to www.nice-work.org.uk as soon as possible after the race. All entrants that have supplied a valid and legible email address will receive a copy of the results as soon as possible after the race.
