Brought to you by The 401 Challenge Ltd, The 401 Festival of Running in Portishead is a 2-day Running Festival, open to all ages and all abilities.
Our ethos is all about inclusivity, where no one has to worry about how slow they are, it's the taking part that really counts and having a great time doing it as well. It goes without saying our tail runners get the biggest cheers!
Our weekend races include a 5km, 10km, and a Half Marathon plus an additional 6.1km for those that want to become Festival Challenge Finishers by completing a total of 26.2 miles over the weekend. We also have the children well care for with four individual races across the weekend.
Not only do our festivals include running, but we also pride ourselves on our famous 401 Challenge Events Village which includes local organic food vendors, pop up bars and a big screen Film Festival on Saturday evening called 'Film on The Point'. With lots of amazing packages for all budgets including some amazing free goodies, come along and enjoy good old fashioned family time, in a fun, friendly, active atmosphere.
