Nice Work has teamed up with Let's Do This to bring you this Bank Holiday Virtual 10K, 5K, and 1K Challenge. Taking place over the Late Spring Bank Holiday weekend, it’s a chance to get active (within appropriate social distancing) and get your hands on a special bespoke medal. There will also be prizes for leading runners and age group winners - It's a virtual race with a difference!
There is a 1k distance for younger runners and families to get involved too.
The challenge is a virtual running event, which means you can participate and complete the challenge from anywhere in the world, including treadmill runs. You can run your 10k, 5k or 1k at any point over the three days, starting from 09:00am on Saturday 23rd May. Submission opens on Saturday 23rd May and will remain open for 72hrs until midnight on Monday 25th. All the results will be collated into a leader board and prizes awarded to overall winners and age category winners.
All you need to do is record your run with a GPS watch or activity tracking app, and snap an epic finisher's selfie to submit with your time on the Let's Do This web page. All the results will be collated into a leader board and prizes awarded to overall winners and age category winners. Plus spot prizes for creativity and best finishers' selfies!
Participants that complete the 10K or 5K will get a high-quality bespoke Nice Work medal, and there will be prizes for overall and age category winners. 10k finishers will receive the yellow medal and 5k and 1k finishers will receive the white medal.
