The Saltwood Boxing Day Run

Now in its 46th year, this long-established charity run attracts a huge entry. Its three miles of mud and hills are generally accepted to be the perfect hangover cure.

We're delighted to be helping out this year and if you'd like an entry, online entries are available below.

The challenging off road course uses the footpaths, fields and trails in and around Saltwood - and is suitable for both experienced runners and beginners alike.

Medal to all finishers.
All ages welcome.

The Course
The Saltwood Boxing Day run comprises a  single lap, undulating course using the paths around Saltwood. Expect Mud, Mud and a bit more mud! The route will be marked with directional route arrows and marshalled to provide additional assistance.

First Aid
St John Ambulance or an alternative medical provider will be in attendance on the day and the course will be marshalled to provide assistance. There will also be a sweep runner following the race to ensure that nobody is left behind and that all runners are accounted for.
Your individual time and position will be recorded by your timing chip. Due to the large amount of on the day entries results will be uploaded to www.nice-work.org.uk as soon as possible after the race. All entrants that have supplied a valid and legible email address will receive a copy of the results as soon as possible after the race.
