After a successful debut in 2019 join us for the return of this 10k and 5k event after a Covid-enforced absence of a year.
The event uses the relatively flat forest paths and trails in and around Salcey Forest and because of the nature of the course, the races are ideal for runners of all abilities, from novices to experienced athletes and is perfect for spring marathon training.
The courses use the hard track tracks and trails within the forest and, if weather conditions are good, normal trainers will be suitable. The forest provides ample tree cover, if the weather is warm.
There will be bespoke medals plus prizes on offer to leading men and ladies and a variety of age category prizes and team prizes for both male and female (3 to score). Important race update
Due to the government announcement on Monday 14th June, that Covid restrictions must remain in place for at least four more weeks, this event will now adopt our Covid 19 race protocols. All entrants will be emailed with details of the protocols that have been put in place. The main affect of these is the need for rolling or wave starts and we will, therefore be operating open start lines.
Full details will be emailed to you but you can view our Covid protocols here.

The route follows a two lap 5k route around the relatively flat tracks and trails of Salcey Forest. 10k runners complete two laps and 5k runners one lap.
First Aid St John Ambulance or an alternative medical provider will be in attendance on the day and the course will be marshalled to provide assistance. There will also be a sweep marshal following the race to ensure that nobody is left behind and that all runners are accounted for.
Your individual time and position will be recorded by your electronic chip. We will endeavour to display results as they come into the race centre. Results will be uploaded to www.nice-work.org.uk as soon as possible after the race. All entrants that have supplied a valid and legible email address will receive a copy of the results as soon as possible after the race.
