The Stebbing 10 Mile

Stebbing 10 is a highly regarded scenic course run on quiet country lanes and has been awarded the The Howard Williams Trophy, awarded to the best road race in the Essex AA area, in both 2016 and 2017.

The race HQ is at the Stebbing Primary School - the race start is 5 minutes walk away at the church and it finishes back at the school. All finishers will receive a commemorative medal and there will be prizes for multiple categories. The race will be chip timed with numbers and chips to be collected on the day between 9am and 10.30am.

The roads will be closed at 10.45am (please park well before then in the race car parks) with runners paying their respects at 11am outside the church with two minutes silence as part of the Remembrance Day service. The race will start at around 11.05am outside of the church.

The course will be well marked and marshaled with first aid support. Water stations will be provided.

As the race is on the roads please do not wear headphones and ensure that you comply with England Athletic rules.

The minimum allowed England Athletics age on the day for 10 mile road events is 17 years.

Please note there is a cut off time of 2:15 for the event.

Your individual time and position will be recorded by your electronic chip. Results should be available on our website www.nice-work.org.uk as soon as you cross the finish line. Provisional results will be published as soon as possible after the race has finished and final results will be published as soon as is practical on the day after the race.

Trophies and awards will be sent in the post after the event.

All entrants that have supplied a valid and legible email address will receive a copy of the results by email as soon as possible on the first working day after the race
