The perfect way to bring in the New Year - this challenging run takes you through the pretty Kent village of Lamberhurst, also including the iconic Scotney Castle. Blow away those New Year's Eve cobwebs with a choice of 5k or 10k. There is also a children's race available.
The race features chip timing and prizes will be awarded to the leading runners and age category winners. Finish line goodies and a medal will be on offer for every finisher, plus a seasonal 'nip' to celebrate the New Year!

The Course This is a challenging, but scenic run, starting and finishing at Lamberhurst Village Hall. The 10k race is a two lap course along a tarmac road and within the grounds of Scotney Castle, again on tarmac roads. The 5k race will be one lap.
There will be one drinks station within the grounds of Scotney Castle, providing water at 2.5km and 7.5km.
First Aid St John Ambulance will be in attendance on the day and the course will be marshalled to provide assistance. There will also be a sweep marshal following the race to ensure that nobody is left behind and that all runners are accounted for.
Your individual time and position will be recorded by your electronic chip. We will endeavour to display results as they come into the race centre. Results will be uploaded to www.nice-work.org.uk as soon as possible after the race. All entrants that have supplied a valid and legible email address will receive a copy of the results as soon as possible after the race.

You’ll find Lamberhurst located off the A21 between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings. The race is accessible by car, but please note that there is limited parking available within the village.
